Sri Ananda Subbaraya Wire Products Pvt Ltd was incorporated on August 18, 1995, with an installed capacity of 6,000 TPA for manufacturing binding wire. The unit was located in Aganampudi, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and in January 2005, the licensed capacity was increased to 15,000 TPA.
In 2017, the company expanded its operations to include trading of steel and allied products, including raw materials such as coal, iron ore, pellets, and finished products like TMT Rebars. A pivotal development in SAWP Steel’s growth trajectory occurred in 2022 with the inauguration of its Fastener Division. This division, with an installed capacity of 5,400 TPA ,Is dedicated to the production of nails.
